I’ve owned my own bridal boutique, The White Dress by the Shore, since 2004, and in the past 20+ years, I've felt every high and all of the low of this emotionally charged business. 

 

In 2017, after a decade of success, I hit a crossroads. Non-bridal brands entered the market, my designers started selling directly to brides, and online retailers exploded. I felt frustrated, overwhelmed, and alone. I longed for a network of like-minded store owners—but there wasn’t one.
